Due to the situation with COVID-19, there is currently no training being held at the Institute. We’re hoping to start some online training in early 2021.

About the Institute
Playfield Institute is part of Fife CAMHS Early Intervention Service, alongside the Primary Mental Health Worker (PMHW) team.
The Institute aims to empower workers, parents and carers to build the mental health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families. We do this by:
- Developing, facilitating and providing training to increase awareness, build skills, increase confidence and offer practical tools to improve mental health and wellbeing.
- Signposting current, high quality information on mental health and wellbeing.
- Empowering workers, parents and carers to build their own mental health and wellbeing.
The values of the Institute include:
- Creating a positive, inclusive image of mental health to help reduce stigma.
- Providing a welcoming, reflective environment for learning and development.
- Encouraging a kind, accepting and mindful approach in all our activities.
